I guess not! Don't worry, you are not the only one who would disagree. But if you are among those who would be open to answer \u201cyes\u201d, I recommend that you continue reading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anxiety is defined as a state of mind characterized by great restlessness, intense excitement, and extreme insecurity. So far, it sounds pretty negative, but new neurology studies have shown that anxiety is a \"skill\" that we, as humans, have to predict the future, seek safety, and become aware of risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That is, when you feel anxiety, what you are really experiencing is a natural state of alertness, of warning, which asks you to return to your comfort zone. When we set goals that are outside of our comfort zone, we are stretching that invisible \u201crubber band\u201d, and like rubber bands, our brain will respond with resistance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We may think that anxiety on its own is a state that occurs even when we are not looking to change anything, and it simply happens, because such is life. It is very common that when you ask someone \"why are you anxious?\" they answer ... \"I don't know\"; therefore, it is clear that we are associating anxiety with stress, but we must learn to differentiate one from the other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anxiety can actually manifest when we do not like our job, and consciously or unconsciously we would like to change it; when we don't have the house we want, the health we want; that is, when we feel bad about our achievements, or the path we have taken. And then you will say, \"but don\u2019t you say that it is my mental state that tells me to return to my comfort zone?\" ... in that case, which freaking comfort zone? And it is true, it seems that anxiety simply tells us that we live in a state of dissatisfaction, and therein lies the interesting thing. However, there are two things you can do: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Accept that nothing will change; be grateful for what you have, value it and be happy with it. \"Live life intensely\" as the song says ... you should be happy with that job, that house, those problems, just stop resisting! ... How fucked up is that? I would not recommend that.<\/li><li>Embrace anxiety; admit that it is only our brain fucking with us, signaling that we should not even dare to think about growing, because we would return to the path of least resistance issue (link) that we had already talked about before. The important thing is that we recognize that if we want to progress, we will live with anxiety forever; if I stop feeling anxiety, I am not making enough progress. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>But ... how the hell do I embrace anxiety? It seems absurd, but you have to start by identifying the thoughts that make you anxious. Even change the words or phrases you use; for example: I hate my job!, I want to quit!, I'm sick!, \"better the devil you know than the devil you don\u2019t\", knowing that you cannot abdicate and that staying there generates anxiety. You could replace these statements with \"this job is just one step in the way\", \"I am working to find a new one\". Followed by reflection when asking yourself \"what can I do today to change this job?\". Anxiety may not completely disappear, but listen to me and see for yourself how with less severe thoughts you will begin to experience it in a more constructive way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To conclude, I will only tell you that anxiety is, in fact, that mental state that wants you to not move, that wants you to go back. And stress is more a state of overflow, which causes your negative thoughts to occupy all your day so that later you feel you have no way out of your current situation ... I think many people confuse them. No te preocupes, no eres la \u00fanica persona que lo negar\u00eda. Si eres de los que dicen que s\u00ed, te recomiendo que sigas leyendo. La ansiedad se define como un estado mental que se caracteriza por una gran inquietud, una intensa excitaci\u00f3n y una extrema inseguridad. Hasta ah\u00ed suena bastante negativo, pero nuevos estudios han demostrado que la ansiedad es una &#8220;habilidad&#8221; que tenemos como seres humanos para predecir el futuro, buscar la seguridad y advertirnos del riesgo. Es decir, cuando sientes ansiedad, lo que realmente est\u00e1s experimentando es un estado natural de alerta, de advertencia, que te pide regresar a tu zona de confort. Cuando establecemos metas que est\u00e1n fuera de nuestra &#8220;\u00e1rea de comodidad&#8221;, estamos estirando esa liga invisible; y como las ligas, nuestro cerebro presenta resistencia. Podemos pensar que la ansiedad por s\u00ed sola, es un estado que se presenta a\u00fan cuando no estamos buscando cambiar nada, y se da simplemente, porque as\u00ed es la forma en la que vivimos. Es t\u00edpico que le preguntas a alguien &#8220;\u00bfpor qu\u00e9 est\u00e1s ansioso?&#8221; y te responde&#8230; &#8220;no s\u00e9&#8221;; por lo tanto, relacionamos ya a la ansiedad con el estr\u00e9s, pero hay que aprender a diferenciar un estado del otro. La ansiedad puede incluso manifestarse cuando no nos gusta nuestro trabajo, y de manera consciente o inconsciente quisi\u00e9ramos cambiarlo; cuando no tenemos la casa que deseamos, la salud que queremos; es decir, cuando nos sentimos mal por nuestros logros, o el camino que hemos recorrido. Y entonces dir\u00e1s, &#8220;pero \u00bfqu\u00e9 no dices que es mi estado mental que me indica que regrese a mi zona de confort?&#8221;&#8230; en ese caso, \u00bfcu\u00e1l pinchi zona de confort? Y es cierto, pareciera que la ansiedad sencillamente nos dice que vivimos en un estado de insatisfacci\u00f3n, y ah\u00ed est\u00e1 lo curioso del asunto. Sin embargo, hay dos cosas que puedes hacer: Aceptar que nada va a cambiar; agradecer lo que tienes, valorarlo y ser feliz con ello. &#8220;Vivir la vida intensamente&#8221; como dice la canci\u00f3n&#8230; deber\u00edas de ser feliz con ese trabajo, esa casa, esos problemas, \u00fanicamente \u00a1deja de resistirte!&#8230; Qu\u00e9 jodido, \u00bfno? No les recomiendo esto. Abrazar la ansiedad; admitir que es solamente nuestro cerebro jodiendo, se\u00f1al\u00e1ndonos que ni siquiera pensemos en crecer, porque volveremos al tema del m\u00ednimo esfuerzo ( link ) del que hab\u00edamos hablado antes. Lo importante es que reconozcamos que si queremos progresar, viviremos con ansiedad por siempre; si dejo de sentir ansiedad, es que no estoy avanzando lo suficiente. Pero&#8230; \u00bfc\u00f3mo chingados abrazo la ansiedad? Pareciera absurdo, pero tienes que iniciar por identificar los pensamientos que te ponen ansioso. Cambiar incluso las palabras o frases que utilizas; por ejemplo: \u00a1odio mi trabajo!, \u00a1quiero renunciar!, \u00a1estoy harto!, &#8220;m\u00e1s vale malo conocido que bueno por conocer&#8221;, sabiendo que no puedes abdicar y que permanecer ah\u00ed te genera ansiedad. Pudieras reemplazar estas afirmaciones por &#8220;este trabajo es s\u00f3lo un escal\u00f3n&#8221;, &#8220;estoy trabajando para encontrar uno nuevo&#8221;. Seguido de la reflexi\u00f3n al cuestionarte &#8220;\u00bfqu\u00e9 puedo hacer hoy para cambiar este trabajo?&#8221;. La ansiedad quiz\u00e1s no desaparezca del todo, pero hazme caso y ver\u00e1s como con pensamientos menos severos empezar\u00e1s a experimentarla de una forma m\u00e1s constructiva. Para concluir, solo te dir\u00e9 que la ansiedad es, en efecto, ese estado mental que quiere que no te muevas, que busca que regreses. Y el estr\u00e9s es m\u00e1s un estado de desbordamiento, que provoca que tus pensamientos negativos ocupen todo tu d\u00eda y entonces te sientas sin salida de tu situaci\u00f3n actual&#8230; creo que mucha gente llega a confundirlos.
