I would be lying to you if I told you that this has not happened to me... so let me share with you how I motivate myself to continue working.

When I was starting my business there were many complicated moments: money, workload, family life... everything was upside down, there were days when I said, "Everything would be easier if I gave up on this", really, it was exhausting. I have always slept little, but at that time I used to sleep even less, it took years for the situation to improve -at least- a little. What kept me on my feet? How did I stay motivated? I found the answer in the passion I felt for what I was doing, let me elaborate on that.

When I started my software development business, I had the opportunity to see how small companies found in us a way to growth. I saw my work reflected in the operation of my clients, who were few and small, but our impact on them was significant; then I fell in love with an idea: "Help Mexico grow", and that idea became the reason why I didn't just give up.

And what did this phrase mean to me? The definition of my purpose,

Which I defined at the time as “helping companies to grow”. My purpose has been evolving (you can read more on this in the post where I talk about purpose), but this is what encourages us when there is nothing else to hold on to.

When passion meets purpose, there is nothing that will stop you.

There is no use loving what you do, you have to love why you do it.All my work has taught me something: if you do it with purpose, even cleaning bathrooms becomes a means to become fulfilled.

Define your purpose, connect it with your passion, take a leap of faith, because if you do it, no matter how many times you are put to test in life, nothing will knock you down, nobody will be able to stop you and the motivation you exhale will become a guiding light for those who work with you.

Finally I share this link that I liked about 10 steps to find your true life purpose 10 pasos para encontrar tu verdadero propósito de vida

Credits

¿Cómo me mantenía motivado?.
